Friday, June 1, 2007 at 02:00PM Seriously, between waiting for Knocked Up, the new Armistead Maupin, the new Ryan Adams, the new Harry Potter, and now the new season of Law and Order, there is good news coming on every pop culture front. Why Law and Order, you ask? Perhaps, like me, you have been unable to really dive back into Law and Order after Jerry Orbach’s passing (R.I.P.). Well, no longer.
The biggest cancellation mistake made this year was when NBC unceremoniously dumped Kidnapped, starring Jeremy “Rollin’ with My Homies” Sisto. They at least had the good sense to wrap up the series (in a meager thirteen episodes) and release them all on DVD — thank goodness for that. I can highly recommend the show. Jake and I just finished watching it last week and I bemoaned the fact that I didn’t have a weekly Jeremy Sisto fix to look forward to next season. Well, now I do! He’s joining Law and Order!
I could not be more excited. I predict he will be the best detective ever.
