I Had Been Hoping...

… that Britney would come out at the VMAs without her weave, rocking her shaved head.  That would have been bad ass. 

Instead?  Instead she came out with terror in her eyes, practically counting her dance steps as she prayed not to fall.  Bless her heart.  Oh, bless her heart.

I knew you'd blog about this :) What a train wreck! I mean I almost feel sorry for her, it was a pathetic performance. I don't think there is going to be much of a come back.

Bless her heart, indeed! I have been unwilling to cut Britney a break, until now. She looked so scared, you had to feel bad for her. At least I did.

She looked terrified. This was not her usual audience of adoring fans but instead her former friends and competition and she was clearly unable to get control of her nerves. She hadn't practiced the routine enough and tried to wing it. Bless her heart. Her face looked gorgeous though didn't it?!

As Kanye put it, "Man, they were just trying to get ratings, and they knew she wasn't ready and they exploited her," But by the way, the context was about how he was played and had to do a suite party, so I don't think he was TOO torn up. Should we be?
