So, my mom is visiting this week which means there will be a lot of shopping and movie-watching in the days to come.  (Museums?  We don’t need no stinking museums.)  Tonight we went to see Because I Said So, because that’s the sort of movie that my mom and I like to go see.  Was it a good movie?  Absolutely not.  Did I enjoy it?  Pretty much, because of five things:  (1) Mandy Moore; (2) Mandy Moore’s pretty hair; (3) Mandy Moore’s pretty skin; (4) Mandy Moore’s pretty clothes, and (5) Gabriel Macht.  It’s this fifth item that I would like to discuss. 

This Gabriel Macht fellow.  He’s a real looker.  He’s cute enough that he added at least half a star to my rating of the movie (ultimately, maybe 2 1/2 stars) and cute enough that I looked him up when I got home.  And you know what?  He’s married to another pretty person who darn near saved another bad movie last year — Jacinda Barrett .  (How pretty and sweet was she in The Last Kiss?  So pretty and sweet.)  (Also, don’t we all like to see one Real World success story?  One former cast member who manages to make a legitimate living in the entertainment industry?)  Anyway, Gabriel Macht and Jacinda Barrett are my new favorite Hollywood couple.  I shall call them… Gabrinda.  Like Brangelina, but without the Benetton babies and the worldwide fame and the Jennifer Aniston thing.  Okay, so not the same at all, but they are almost as nice to look at.
