Wednesday Albums

What I’ve listened to this morning so far:

Joshua Radin, First Between Third and Fourth, plus his song “Star Mile” and his song with Schuyler Fisk, “Paper Weight,” both from The Last Kiss soundtrack.

The Submarines, Declare a New State!   Oh my gosh, so good.  Favorite tracks so far:  “Modern Invention” and “This Conversation.”  I’ve listened to “Modern Invention” like three times today already.

Bright Eyes, I’m Wide Awake It’s Morning, because I wanted to hear “Landlocked Blues” and “Road to Joy.”  And then “Another Travelin’ Song.”

Emilie-
Are you a Damien Rice fan? Some of his lyrics can get a tad OOC, many of his songs are beautiful and haunting. He has a great voice. I’m a big fan- especially on days I’m a tad doleful. He has had a couple of songs in TV/movies (Closer and Grey's... I KNOW you don't watch Grey's- just a note for your other readers...) Check him out- new CD, 9 Crimes...

I loved his first one but haven't checked out the newest one. I definitely need to do that. I was supposed to go see him a few months ago but then he ended up not coming here; I was really disappointed.

I'd love to see him, chances are he'll never make it down to Columbia. I'd be more than willing to go to CLT or ATL for a concert for him though. Check out 9 Crimes when you can.
